With the threat of rain in the area, doubles was not played to ensure the match would be finished.
Senior and reigning Big West Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week Alexis Valenzuela improved to 5-0 on the year at No. 1 singles with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Anna Sokiran.
Fellow senior Camille De Leon recorded a 6-4, 6-3 win over Genevieve McCloskey at No. 2 in the lineup, improving her singles record to 4-0 this season.
At No. 3 singles, Karla Portalatin defeated Emily Maxfield, 7-5, 6-2, as the sophomore is now 4-1 in 2017.
Sophomore Sarah Nuno, now 3-1 in singles action, came back from a first set loss to defeat Joselyn Treyes Albar, 6-7 (5), 6-0, 6-3 at No. 4 in the lineup.
Junior Danielle Pham picked up her third singles victory of the year with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Sarina Chhabra at the bottom of the order.
The Titans return to action at Santa Clara on Saturday with an 11 a.m. start time.
Notes: Cal State Fullerton has started the season 5-0 for the first time in program history.
