AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15)
Named to the Big West Conference Big West Singles First Team as the Titans top player…finished the season with an overall record of 12-11 and was one of two Titans with a winning dual record (8-6) playing all of her matches at the top of the lineup…finished Big West Conference play 2-5…partnered with Danielle Pham as the tandem finished 15-11 overall and 14-8 in spring competing at No. 2 in the lineup…finished 6-2 in Big West Conference matches and 6-4 in their last 10 matches…helped the Titans to a 4-3 season-opening win over Nevada in a come-from-behind three-set victory over Sheila Morales, 2-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-2 (01/17)…defeated Loyola Marymount’s Jessica Perez, 6-3, 6-3 to push the Titans to a 4-3 win (03/07)…the pair of Pham and Valenzuela endured two different four-match win streaks during the season including ending the year with wins against teams from Cal Poly, UC Santa Barbara, UC Riverside and UC Irvine…helped the Titans garner the doubles points in wins over Nevada, UC San Diego, Azusa Pacific, Southern Utah, Eastern Michigan, Colorado State, Cal Poly and UC Riverside.

AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14)
Led Cal State Fullerton as a rookie with a record of 23-6 overall and 15-4 in singles dual play en route to Big West Singles First Team honors, becoming the first Titan to earn first team honors dating back to 1989…her 15 singles wins and 14-match winning streak from Feb. 5-April 11 set program highs dating back to 2001 – the latest season stats are available for the program…in singles play, finished Big West competition with a record 5-2, and during the year started at the No. 2 spot (3-2) before moving to the top of the lineup (12-2)…signature wins included opponents from Air Force, Hawai’i, Loyola Marymount, then 42nd-ranked UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, Georgetown, Furman, San Diego, Colorado State, Wyoming, UC Davis and UC Riverside…in doubles action, completed the year with an 18-10 overall record as well as a 15-8 dual mark, and a 3-5 effort against Big West competition…partnered with Megan Sandford at the No. 2 position as the pair totaled a 7-3 record…also teamed with Kalika Slevcove at No. 2 doubles, marking an 8-5 record…in doubles play, recorded wins against opponents from then 46th-ranked San Diego, Air Force, Nevada, Loyola Marymount, then 42nd-ranked UC Irvine, Southern Utah, Georgetown, Colorado State, Wyoming, UC Riverside, Cal Poly and then 55th-ranked Long Beach State.

A 2013 graduate of West Covina High School in West Covina, Calif…played on the varsity squad for four years under head coach Mark McConville…during her freshman season (2009), West Covina completed in the San Antonio League before moving to the Hacienda League for her final three seasons of competition (2010-12)…accolades include four-time league champion, four-time league MVP (first to complete feat in West Covina HS history), four-time team MVP, four-time first team all-league honors, four-time San Gabriel Valley Tribune all-area selection, three-time (2010-12) CIF Southern Section round of 16 qualifier…two-time San Gabriel Valley Tribune Girls’ Tennis Player of the Year (2010, 2012) and the 2013 West Covina High School Female Athlete of the Year)…was a four-time scholar athlete and graduate with honors…four-star recruit according to tennisrecruiting.net…rated the 41st recruit in the state of California in the 2013 class.
