FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's golf travels to Palm Desert for the Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Wyoming Saturday and Sunday at The Classic Club.

The Course: The Classic Club course is a nationally recognized championship course designed by Arnold Palmer and a host site of the 2006, 2007, and 2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, creates a new spin on desert golf with rolling terrain, wide landing areas, 30 acres of water features, 14 bridges as well as an abundance of pine trees, pine straw ground cover with 5 sets of tees on each hole.

The Field: Including Fullerton, there are 13 teams competing in the Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate which include Wyoming, Northern Arizona, Santa Clara, UC Riverside, Hawaii, UT Arlington, Southern Utah, CSUN, CSU Bakersfield, Utah Valley, North Dakota, Montana.

Last Time on the Green: The Titans finished in fifth place at the Washington State Cougar Cup with a 56-over par 920. Sophomore Elsa Lundquist led the Titans with a ninth place individual finish, shooting a 7-over par 223.
