LAKEWOOD, Wash. – Cal State Fullerton senior Martina Edberg sits atop the individual leaderboard after 36 holes at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational hosted by Seattle University at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club in Lakewood, Wash.

Edberg sits in first place after the first day after posting a 2-under 142. She shot a 2-under 70 in the opening round and then held steady with an even-par 72 in the second. Edberg leads Olivia Benzin of Oregon State by one stroke with Julianne Alvarez of Washington (E), Ana Raga of Utah Valley (+1) and Ciera Min of Gonzaga (+1) rounding out the top five.

Edberg sank three birdies in the first round with one bogey and then followed that up with two of each in the second round. She will tee off from hole No. 4 Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in search of her third consecutive first-place finish and seventh overall win.

As for the Titans, the team posted a collective 31-over 607 on Monday to sit in sole possession of fifth place in the 15-team field. They are currently 18 strokes back of day-one leader Washington.

Daniella Uy posted the second best score of the day for the Titans, shooting a 10-over 154. Uy is currently tied for 26th in the 90-player field. Pauline Welker was one stroke back of her teammate, posting an 11-over 155 through 36 holes and is tied for 31st.

Freshman Elsa Lundquist rounded out the Titans team scoring after posting a 14-over 158, putting her in a tie for 53rd place. Brittney Sok posted a 21-over on Monday. Felicia Medalla, competing in her second straight tournament as an individual, is currently tied for 39th place after posting a 12-over 156.

The Titans wrap up the tournament Tuesday with a shotgun start set for 8:30 a.m.
