San Luis Obispo, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's basketball fell to Cal Poly on Saturday afternoon by a score of 69-58. Three Titans scored in double figures but the team shot just 40% from the field and had 18 turnovers.

The Mustangs of Cal Poly led by one at halftime and extended that lead to 10 at one point in the third quarter but the Titans rallied and trailed by just four. However, Fullerton was out-scored by seven in the final frame. Fullerton shot 40.7% (22-54) from the field, 27.3% (6-22) from distance and 8-12 (66.7%) at the free-throw line. Cal Poly shot 48.3% (28-58) from the field, just 1-11 from beyond the arc and 63.2% (12-19) from the stripe. The Titans turned the ball over 18 times and the Mustangs scored 20 points off those mistakes.

Raina Perez scored 16 points, tied for the most on the team, to go with two rebounds, four assists and two steals. Amiee Book scored 16 points well on 7-10 shooting with a rebound and a steal. Hannah Thompson struggled shooting but still tallied 13 points, three rebounds and an assist.

Next up, the Titans host UC Irvine on Wednesday at 7 p.m. PT on Fan Appreciation Night.
