FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton (11-12, 3-7 BWC) will host UC Santa Barbara (6-18, 3-8 BWC) at the Titan Gym on Thursday at 5:00pm as game one of a doubleheader with the men's team. The Titans will then travel to San Luis Obispo to face Cal Poly (5-17, 2-9 BWC) in a weekend matchup at the Robert A. Mott Athletics Center on Saturday at 2:00pm.
Cal State Fullerton is coming off a tough loss to CSUN and have lost their last six games. Four Titans scored in double figures against the Matadors with Raina Perez leading the team in scoring with 14 points. The Titans have accomplished three conference wins this season, as Deaja Smith leads the team in points with 298 and rebounds with 195.
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo is coming off a pair of losses against UC Riverside and CSUN. UC Riverside took the victory 80-66 against the Mustangs, while CSUN shut them down at 68-52. The Mustangs are led by Devin Stanback scoring a total of 241 points this season. Dye Stahley follows closely behind Stanback with 200 total points this season. The Cal Poly Mustangs have taken two conference wins this season.
UC Santa Barbara is coming off of a recent win against UC Irvine (72-51), and a loss against Hawaii (72-49). The Gauchos' leading player in points is Coco Miller, scoring 311 so far this season. Natalia Bruening leads the team in rebounds with 137 this season. The UCSB Gauchos' have taken three wins in conference this season.
These will be the last two conference matches against the Mustangs and Gauchos for Fullerton as they look to sweep the season series for both.
