HIGH SCHOOL
A 2015 graduate of Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, Calif…played all five positions for the Dons participating in four years of varsity basketball for head coach Jackie Turpin… was named team MVP following her freshman season, and as a sophomore helped Cathedral Catholic to the Western League championship as well as runner-up at the CIF championships…missed most of her senior season with an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear, but played in the last seven games of the year as the Dons once again captured a league championship…was named to the all-academic team for four consecutive years and was a member of the Dean’s List as a sophomore and a junior.

Born in Burlingame, Calif…parents are Mark and Adrienne Gallo…has one younger sister, Chloe…major is kinesiology…charity and volunteer participation includes the CHOC Children’s Hospital: program that allows students to assist the doctors and nurses in the emergency room (2016), One-Nine Sports Medicine: physical therapist aid (2016), Emeritus Senior Living Center (2015), Alzheimer’s Walk (2015), Student Athletic Trainer (2013, 2014, 2015), Athletes Saving Athletes Ambassador (2014) and Hope Leadership Foundation: a coach for baseball and basketball camps for inner city kids (2014)…superstition, “I always have to put both my socks on, then tie my left shoe first then my right”…chose Cal State Fullerton for the area and honors program…models game after Larry Bird…favorites include: Blake Griffin, Kyrie Irving (basketball players), Clippers (basketball team), Abby Wambach, Magic Johnson, Serena Williams (athletes), J.
