Titans Wrap Up Home Schedule With Cal Poly and Sacramento State

FULLERTON, Calif. –  The Titans look to protect their home field as they wrap up their home schedule, hosting Cal Poly Wednesday at 7 p.m. PT before playing Sacramento State on senior night at Titan Stadium Saturday night.

QUICK HITS
•Cal State Fullerton hosts two games at Titan Stadium this week where it is 1-2-3 this season.
Robert Coronado is now tied for ninth all-time in the history of the program with 15 assists.
Paul-Andre Guerin as cemented is legacy in the record book as he is now tied for fifth all-time in the history of the program with 12 shutouts.
•The Titans have been to extra time in eight of the 12 matches this season.
•Fullerton's six draws through just nine games is already the most draws in a season in program history.
•Fullerton's 44 wins in Kuntz's four years since he  arrived in 2015 is the most among Big West team's over the four year time period.

OPPONENT AND HISTORY

CAL POLY
7:00 p.m. | Wednesday, Oct. 10 | Titan Stadium
Fullerton faces Cal Poly for the 35th time in the history of the two programs. The Titans lead the all-time matchup with a record of 20-13-1. Fullerton has won three consecutive games against the Mustangs and have not lost a match since 2012. The Mustangs are 4-5-2 this season with a record of 0-1-1 in Big West play.

SACRAMENTO STATE
7:00 p.m. | Saturday, Oct. 13 | Titan Stadium
The Titans and Hornets will meet for just the 10th time. Fullerton leads the all-time meetings with a record of 6-3 and is 5-0 in matchups at Titan Stadium including last year's meeting where the Titans won 3-1. Sacramento State is 3-7-2 on the year with a 1-1 record in conference play.

COMEBACK KIDS
The Titans once again had a stellar comeback last week against CSUN to earn a 2-2 draw. Fullerton was down 2-0 at halftime before scoring two goals in the second half to force overtime and eventually earn the team's sixth draw of the season. Mark Hernandez scored the Titans first goal in the second half to start the comeback before Samuel Goni tied the game on a penalty kick.  

GUERIN CEMENTS LEGACY
Goalkeeper Paul-Andre Guerin recorded back-to-back clean sheets the Titans wins against Loyola Marymount and San Francisco, giving him four on the season and 12 for his career, moving him to a tie for fourth all-time in the history of the program.  Guerin needs just three more shutouts to move into a tie for fourth place. Mike Ammann holds the record for most shutouts in a career with 19.

CORONADO CRACKS RECORD BOOK
Fifth-year senior Robert Coronado has recorded three assist this season, including two in the Titans last match against St. Francis, giving him 15 for his career, ranking him tied for ninth all-time in the history of the program. Coronado needs just two more assist to move into a tie for eighth all-time and three more to move into a tie for sixth all-time. Matt Bradbury holds the record with 29 assists.
