SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Once again, the Titans needed extra time to decide the match, UC Santa Barbara scored in the 92nd minute to take the game 1-0 Saturday night at Harder Stadium.

Fullerton played strong against the Gauchos throughout the night, firing off six shots while the Gauchos got 13 shots in the game. Paul-Andre Guerin played great in net for the Titans, making four saves on the night.

As usual, the match between the Gauchos and the Titans was very physical, leading to Fullerton picking up 11 fouls while UCSB recorded 16 fouls in the game.

The Titans played tough all night, once again forcing overtime on the road, this time in an hostile environment at Harder Stadium against a tough team.

Fullerton forced overtime once again, however, gave up the golden goal in the 92nd minute to drop its first match on the road to go to 4-3-6 this season while dropping its first game of the season on the road.

The Titans look to bounce back Wednesday as they host Cal Poly at Titan Stadium at 7 p.m. PT.
