FULLERTON, Calif. – Coming off of back-to-back shutout victories, the Titans look to continue their momentum as they begin conference play against CSUN at Titan Stadium Wednesday at 7 p.m. before heading to a hostile environment on the road against UC Santa Barbara Saturday night.

•Cal State Fullerton begins Big West Conference play where it was 4-4-2 last season.
•Fullerton broke out for four goals against San Francisco last week, the most since the 2016 season.

CSUN

Fullerton faces CSUN for the 45th time in the history of the two programs. The Titans trail in the all-time matchup 17-21-6 but 1-0-1 last season against the Matadors. Fullerton is 9-11-4 all-time against CSUN when playing at Titan Stadium. The Matadors are 6-4 on the year and head into the match on two-game losing streak with losses to Loyola Marymount and San Diego, both of whom the Titans have beat this season.
UC SANTA BARBARA
7:00 p.m. | Saturday, Oct. 6 | Harder Stadium
The Titans and Gauchos will square off for the 63rd time in the history of the two programs. Fullerton trails in the all-time match up with a 25-34-3 record. The Titans are 9-22 when they travel to Harder Stadium. The Gauchos are 6-4 this year and head into the week after suffering a loss to Cal Poly. UCSB will have a game against Sacramento State before the meeting with Fullerton.
FLOOD GATES OPEN
Through the first 10 games of the season the Titans had only score more than one goal one time. However, against San Francisco the flood gates finally opened up as the Titans broke through for four goals, the most in a single game since the 2016 season. Ross McPhie got things started in the game with the first goal, he also a record an assist in the game to give him three points in the match. Christian Pinzon, Samuel Goni and Bass Sarr scored the final three goals of the game.
GUERIN CEMENTS LEGACY
Goalkeeper Paul-Andre Guerin recorded back-to-back clean sheets last week in the Titans wins against Loyola Marymount and San Francisco, giving him four on the season and 12 for his career, moving him to a tie for fourth all-time in the history of the program. Guerin needs just three more shutouts to move into a tie for fourth place. Mike Ammann holds the record for most shutouts in a career with 19.
CORONADO CRACKS RECORD BOOK
Fifth-year senior Robert Coronado has recorded three assist this season, including two in the Titans last match against St. Francis, giving him 15 for his career, ranking him tied for ninth all-time in the history of the program. Coronado needs just two more assist to move into a tie for eighth all-time and three more to move into a tie for sixth all-time. Matt Bradbury holds the record with 29 assists.
FIRST TIMERS
Four different players recorded assists on four goals last week in the Titans win over San Francisco. Jacob Cini and Jonathan Sims, however, recorded their first collegiate points on assists in the match. Cini recorded two assists in the game including a perfect pass to set up Christian Pinzon. Sims recorded an assist on the final goal of the game with a beautiful crossing pass to set up Bass Sarr for the header.
