FULLERTON, Calif. – After not scoring more than two goals in a single game all season, the floodgates finally opened for the Titans (4-2-5) Saturday afternoon as they netted four goals to get a victory over San Francisco 4-0 at Titan Stadium
Ross McPhie got things started in the 28th minute as took the pass from Mark Hernandez outside the 18-yard box and dribbled past two defenders to free himself up for a shot from just outside the six-yard box.
Not long after, Christian Pinzon got on the board for the second consecutive game. Pinzon made a run down the middle of the field and received a beautiful crossing pass on the ground from Jacob Cini which Pinzon roofed, leaving no chance for the goalkeeper to get a hand on it.
Fullerton came out of the locker room at halftime not satisfied with its two goal lead. Samuel Goni scored in the 63rd minute after McPhie showed off his class footwork to get past defenders and free Goni up for the goal.
Bass Sarr then closed the game out fittingly, scoring in the 90th minute on header after a crossing pass from Jonathan Sims. Cini and Sims both picked up their first points as a Titan on assists in the match.

Not to be overshadowed was the amazing play of the Titans defense. Fullerton did not give up a single shot until the 85th minute of the match and have now recorded clean sheets in back-to-back matches. With the shutout Paul-Andre Guerin now moves into a tie for 5th all-time in the history of the program with 12 clean sheets.
Fullerton now turns its attention to Big West Conference play as it hosts CSUN Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Titan Stadium.
