FULLERTON, Calif. – In the last week of nonconference play the Titans look to build some momentum as they hit the road to take on Loyola Marymount Thursday night at 7 p.m. before hosting San Francisco in a matinee match at Titan Stadium Saturday at 1 p.m. PT.

•Cal State Fullerton looks to get back to its winning ways on the road where it is 2-0-3 this year.

LOYOLA MARYMOUNT

Fullerton faces Loyola Marymount for the 18th time in the history of the two programs. The Titans control the match up with a record of 13-4 and a 6-1 record at Sullivan Field. Fullerton has however, lost the last two matchups including the last one in 2013 when the fell 2-0.
Loyola Marymount is 2-6 on the season with wins over fellow Big West opponents UC Riverside and CSUN. Kris Fourcan and Francis Avoce lead the lions with two goals each.
SAN FRANCISCO
1:00 p.m. | Saturday, Sept. 29 | Titan Stadium
San Francisco and Fullerton will meet for the 22nd time in the history of the programs. Fullerton trails in the all-time meetings with a record of 7-12-2 with a 2-3 record at Titan Stadium. The Titans are on a three-game winning streak against the Dons including a 3-0 win last season.
The Dons are 2-6-1 this season with early season wins over fellow Big West opponent CSUN and UCLA who was ranked No. 8 in the country at the time. Santiago Digiuseppe leads the team with three goals on the season.

CORONADO CRACKS RECORD BOOK
Fifth-year senior Robert Coronado has recorded three assist this season, including two in the Titans last match against St. Francis, giving him 15 for his career, ranking him tied for ninth all-time in the history of the program. Coronado needs just two more assist to move into a tie for eighth all-time and three more to move into a tie for sixth all-time.
SALAZAR SHOWS SKILLS
Freshman Edward Salazar has been a key addition to the Titans this season, starting in all nine games this season at center back. While Salazar has shown his strength as a defender throughout the season, last week the freshman came up plays on the offensive side to lead the Titans to two draws. First against Florida Gulf Coast, Salazar made a great play to get an assist to DJ Wilson in the 90th minute to send the game to overtime. Against Saint Francis the youngster notched his first collegiate goal on a beautiful header to give the Titans a 2-1 lead at the time.
LATE GAME HEROICS... AGAIN... AND AGAIN
DJ Wilson scored a magnificent goal in the 90th minute against FGCU to send the game to overtime and earn the Titans a 1-1 draw. Wilson now has two goals on the season, both in the final minutes of regulation.
Once again, the Titans need some late clutch plays to earn themselves four points against Cal Baptist and UNLV. Fullerton scored in the 74th minute on a goal by Christian Pinzon to force overtime and earn a draw on the road against CBU. The Titans then came up with a huge goal against UNLV in the 85th minute by Samuel Goni to take a 1-0 victory in the desert.
Robert Coronado scored a golden goal in the 100th minute against San Diego on an amazing free kick from about 30 yards out to give the Titans their first victory in overtime this season. The other four overtime matches ended in a draw.
Fullerton used a pair of late game heroics in the first week of the season to grab two draws in three games. Bass Sarr was the first to come up clutch for the Titans as he scored in the 87th minute against Missouri State on the road to force overtime and eventually earn a 1-1 draw. The very next game against James Madison it was freshman Wilson's turn to save the Titans as he scored in the 88th minute to force overtime and eventually earn a 1-1 draw.
