FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton looks to finish off its three-game home stand strong as it hosts UNLV Friday at 5 p.m. at Titan Stadium in a doubleheader with the women's soccer team.

QUICK HITS
• Cal State Fullerton has scored six goals over its last three games compared to four goals over its first five games of the season.
• The Titans went with a change in goal as sophomore Alfredo Cortez made three appearances for Fullerton and has led them to a 2-0-1 record over those three games.
• Freshman Christian Pinzon made his first appearance for the Titans against the University of San Francisco and scored a goal in the 3-0 victory.
• Fullerton dealt with an array of injuries last weekend but were able to overcome them to earn a victory and a draw over Vermont and San Diego, respectively. The injury bug looks to be behind the Titans heading into the matchup with UNLV.
• Ross McPhie scored his third goal of the season in the 1-1 draw against San Diego, equaling his total goals scored from 2016 in just eight games played this season.
IN THE STANDINGS
Fullerton remains in third place in the Big West South Division with a 4-3-1 record. CSUN sits atop the division with a 5-2 record while UC Irvine is in second at 4-3 and UC Riverside in fourth at 0-6.

Fullerton and UNLV will meet for the 26th time in the history of the two programs. The Titans dominate the all-time matchup with a record of 20-3-2 including a record of 13-4-1 at Titan Stadium against the Rebels. Fullerton is on a three-game win streak against UNLV, the last time the two teams faced each other was in 2016 in Las Vegas where the Titans took home a 3-1 victory. Alex Heilmann, who his now with the Portland Timbers U23 team, recorded a hat trick in the match.
The Rebels come into Titan Stadium sporting a 2-5 record while going 1-3 on the road. UNLV may have a subpar record heading into the matchup, however, Titans Head Coach George Kuntz knows the Rebels are a much better team than their record indicates. "They've had a tough schedule, they beat Portland, that says it all right there, they have the potential to beat anybody. They're a very good team and they're very well coached. They have goal scorers, guys that on any night can light it up, it just depends on what night they're bringing it," Kuntz said.
UNLV spreads the ball around for its goalscoring, netting six goals on the year by five different players. Marco Gonzalez leads the Rebels with five points on two goals and one assist.
McPhie… for Three
Junior Ross McPhie scored his third goal of the season in the Titans 1-1 draw against the University of San Diego. McPhie equalled his totaled goals scored from 2016 through just eight games so far in 2017. The junior midfielder has also added an assist to his stats to lead the team with seven points, he totaled eight points all of last season. McPhie has had a lot of opportunities this season, firing 16 total shots, ranking second to only to Bass Sarr. Six out of McPhie's 16 shots have been on goal and has scored on 50 percent of his on goal shots.
Peek Performance
Redshirt freshman Brian Peek entered the match against Vermont late in the second half last Friday with the game tied 1-1. Within minutes of being substituted in, Peek scored his first collegiate goal to give the Titans a 2-1 victory. Peek has played in four games this season, including three-straight games starting with the match against San Francisco.
