SENIOR (2019-20) 
Even with a season cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic, Castillo had a season to be envied.  Castillo had wins at the OC Collegiate Classic in Coto de Caza, Calif. and the Sacramento State Invitational in Elk Grove, Calif.  He was also a member of the Titan team which won both tournaments.  Castillo also had top-ten finishes in the Ram Masters Invitational (T5th), Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational (7th), and the Hoakalei Country Club Invitational in Ewa Beach, Hawai'i (T2nd).  Castilllo participated in all seven tournaments and 21 rounds with the Titans.  He finished the season with a 70.48 scoring average.  Castillo was named the Big West Men's Golfer of the Month for March, 2020.

JUNIOR (2018-19)
Castillo competed in a total of 27 rounds in nine tournaments... His scoring average was 71.96.  While this was a team low, he did not compete in all 11 tournaments.  His low round  was a 65 at the Olympic Club Intercollegiate, where he finished -3 and tied for second place... Castillo had five top-10 finishes, including a -3 third-place finish at the UCI Anteater Invitational... Named to the All-Big West First Team for a second consecutive year.

SOPHOMORE (2017-18)
Competed in all 11 of the team's tournaments throughout the season... Led the team with an average score of 72.61... Claimed first place at the Bill Cullum Invitational with a score of 14-under par 202... Recorded four top-10 finishes... Recorded eight top-20 finishes... Set a career-best single round score with a 65 in both the second and third round at the Bill Cullum Invitational... Named to the All-Big West First Team

PRIOR TO CAL STATE FULLERTON (2016-17)
Castillo began his college career at UNLV where he competed in four tournaments while averaging a score of 75.42... Castillo recorded a low score of 68 and had a best finish of 11th place. 

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2016 graduate of Valencia High School in Placentia, Calif. ... Earned four varsity letters for the Tigers ... In 2012, won the AJGA Mission Hills tournament and the FCG World Championship at PGA West Stadium Course ... Other winners of the Mission Hills tournament include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Patrick Cantlay, Sihwan Kim, and former Rebels James Oh Seung Su Han, Ryan Keeney and current Rebel Justin Chong ... In 2013 he established himself as one of the top-ranked junior players in the nation when he qualified for the U.S. Amateur at Atlanta Athletic Club and also achieved medalist recognition at the AJGA Polo Classic at PGA National Resort ... Was ranked 10th nationally by Polo Junior Golf Rankings as the time ... In 2014, was medalist at the U.S. Amateur Qualifier at Old Ranch Country Club ... In 2016, tied for sixth at the California State Open Qualifier at Oak Valley Golf Club and made the cut at the California State Open at Bear Creek Golf Club.
