Fullerton Loses 2-0 to James Madison

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton dropped the second game of its three-game series with James Madison, 2-0, Saturday night at Goodwin Field.

Kyle Luckham and Timothy Josten pitched terrific games on the mound for Fullerton as Luckham went six innings giving up just four hits and two runs (one earned) while striking out five batters. Josten finished the final three inning and allowed just two hits and no runs, striking out four.

Hank LoForte extended his impressive on-base streak to 61 consecutive games on a double to right field in the third inning. LoForte's streak leads the nation for the longest active streak. The senior went 2-for-4 in Saturday night's contest.

Mitchell Berryhill extended a streak of his own. With his infield single in the first inning, Berryhill has now recorded a hit in eight consecutive games and has reached base safely on all 16 games this season.

The Titans look to bounce back Sunday afternoon with the third and final game of the series scheduled for 1:00 p.m. PT. Fullerton is 4-0 this season in Sunday games.
