FULLERTON, Calif. –
Following Cal State Fullerton's 42nd consecutive winning season in the baseball program's history, the Titans return to action for four games during the fall, three of which will be played at Goodwin Field.

Fullerton will open its fall campaign hosting Orange Coast College at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22.

Recent 2016 College World Series participant UC Santa Barbara will travel to Goodwin Field for a 4 p.m., first pitch on Saturday, Oct. 29.

The final fall home game will welcome Cypress College for a 6 p.m. start on Friday, Nov. 4.

All games played at Goodwin Field will be free of charge for admission.

Fullerton will close the fall with a 5:30 p.m., first pitch at Cal Poly Pomona on Friday, Nov. 11.

Cal State Fullerton wrapped up the 2016 season with a 36-23 (.610) overall record, notching the 42nd straight 30-win season for the Titans. Sixth-year head coach Rick Vanderhook led Fullerton to its 21st Big West Conference title and 29th conference championship overall as he was named Big West Coach of the Year for the fourth time in his career. It was also the Titans' fourth conference title in his five years as head coach. He now holds a 197-103 overall record as coach of the Titans.

Fullerton made its 38th NCAA Tournament appearance in 2016 in 42 seasons at the NCAA Division I level. It was the Titans 25th straight postseason berth, the third longest active streak behind Miami, FL. (44) and Florida State (39).

Baseball America Freshman First Team All-American and Big West Conference Freshman Pitcher of the Year Colton Eastman returns to the squad in 2017 as well as Big West All-Conference team selections Timmy Richards, Connor Seabold, and John Gavin.

Notes: The Oct. 22 game vs. Orange Coast College will be a family affair as OCC head coach John Altobelli is the father of second-year Titan volunteer assistant coach J.J. Altobelli…the Nov. 4 game will mark the return of Cal State Fullerton outfielder Anthony Hutting (2010-13) to Goodwin Field as he is in his first year as head coach of Cypress College after serving as an assistant for two years.
