JUNIOR (2017)
Went 11-5 with a 2.96 ERA in 18 starts in 2017… has a 5.30:1 strikeout to walk ratio (122 K, 23 BB)… struck out 10-or-more batters four times… struck out a season high 11 batters against Gonzaga (Mar. 10), UC Davis (Apr. 7) and Long Beach State (May 25)… allowed no runs on Feb. 16 vs. Stanford (7.0 IP, 5 H, 5 K) and on Apr. 7 vs UC Davis in a complete-game shutout (9.0 IP, 3 H, 11 K, 1 BB)… twelve of his 17 starts were quality starts… surrendered just six home runs on the year, three coming in one game that he eventually won (May 12 vs UC Santa Barbara)… gave up just two runs on eight hits over 7.0 innings in the victory over BYU at the Stanford Regional… suffered the only loss at the Long Beach Super regional after allowing 3 first inning runs (5.1 IP, 3 R, 7 H, 3 BB, 4)… was named a Perfect Game/Rawlings All-American honorable mention… was drafted in the 3rd round (pick 83) by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2017 MLB First Year Player Draft… was ranked No. 51 on Baseball America’s Top 100 Prospects List… was named the Big West Conference’s Pitcher of the Week two times (Feb. 20 and Mar. 10)… was selected to the All-Big West Conference First Team… was named a Collegiate Baseball All-American (Second Team). Started one game in the College World Series for the Titans against Oregon State.
SOPHOMORE (2016)
Took over the Friday night starter's role a month into the season... Appeared in 16 games, making 13 starts... Went 7-6 with a 2.48 ERA... Second on the team with 96 strikeouts in 83 and 1/3 innings pitched... Ranked second in the nation in strikeout-to-walk ratio after allowing just nine free passes on the season... Allowed more than two earned runs just three times in 16 appearances... Had two double-digit strikeout performances during the season, fanning 11 batters against UNLV (04/22) and a career-high 12 strikeouts against UC Riverside (05/06).
FRESHMAN (2015)
Assumed “Sunday” starter role after the injury to Justin Garza… had three career quality starts in his last three outings prior to the Super Regionals… in 22 appearances and 11 starts had a 5-4 record and one save… boasted a 3.26 ERA (third among starters) and struck out 76 (second on the team) in 69 innings while walking 12… in Big West Conference games made five appearances and two starts pitching a total of 18 innings while striking out 25 and walking just one… managed a 3.00 ERA, 2-0 record and one save in Big West games… allowed just two runs on three hits and struck out a career-high nine batters against Hawai’i in a 5-2 victory to sweep the series (05/17)… followed that with another good outing, allowing one earned run on seven hits in six innings of work as the Titans downed Long Beach State 5-3 to complete the sweep with six strikeouts to no walks (05/23)… matched his season high with nine strikeouts, tossing six shutout innings and recording the win in a 10-1 victory over Pepperdine – the West Coast Conference Tournament champions – to advance to the Super Regional (05/31)… in the first start of his career tossed four innings and was credited with the win, allowing just two hits while striking out six in a 3-0 shutout over Pepperdine (03/03)…credited with the win over tossing five and 2/3 shutout innings against eventual Western Athletics Conference champions CSU Bakersfield striking out six in an 11-0 victory… allowed just one hit and struck four in two and 1/3 shutout innings to record the save in a 7-5 series-clinching victory over UC Irvine (04/26).

A 2014 graduate of Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, Calif... Played three years on the varsity squad under head coach Evan Chalmers... As a sophomore went 1-1 with a 2.00 ERA and 15 Ks in 14 innings... Went 2-6 with a 1.97 ERA and 65 Ks in 60.1 innings pitched and was Second Team All-Sunset League as a junior... Was 3-7 overall with a 3.07 ERA and 75 Ks in 60 innings and was First Team All-Sunset League as a senior.
