FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's indoor track and field returns to the University of Washington's Dempsey Indoor this weekend to compete in the Husky Classic. Both the running and field events begin at 4 p.m. PT on Friday. On Saturday, field events commence at 10 a.m. while the morning session running events start at 9 a.m. and the afternoon events are set to begin at 3:30 p.m.

In addition to the host Washington Huskies, CSF will compete against CSUN, San Francisco, Cal Poly, California, Hawai'i, Oregon, UNLV, Stanford, Oklahoma State, Washington State, Michigan, Colorado and many others.
Twenty Titans are set to compete this weekend, including Shelby Noble and Iesha Hamm, who had record-setting performances last weekend at the Colorado Invitational. Noble cleared 12-5.50 (3.80m) in the pole vault to break her previous CSF record of 12-3 (3.75m) set on Feb. 11, 2017. Hamm won the high jump competition with a personal-best mark of 5-7.25 (1.71m) to tie Ty'Jalayah Robertson's school record set in 2015. Meanwhile, Taylor Hawkins and Zuri Henderson are set to make their season debuts.

With the 2018 season underway, cross country and track and field head coach John Elders enters his 30th season at the helm of each program making him the longest tenured head coach in the history of Cal State Fullerton. Cal State Fullerton won the 2017 Big West Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the first conference title in program history.
CSF will return to Washington's Dempsey Indoor for the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships (Feb. 23-24) to wrap up the indoor season.
