Noble and Hamm Set School Records for Women’s TF at Colorado Invitational

BOULDER, Colo. – Sophomore Shelby Noble broke her own pole vault school record on Friday afternoon while freshman Iesha Hamm tied the high jump school record for Cal State Fullerton women's track and field at the Colorado Invitational. The final day of competition begins at 10 a.m. PT on Saturday when all the track events will be contested.

Noble cleared 12-5.50 (3.80m) in the pole vault to break her own CSF record of 12-3 (3.75m) set on Feb. 11, 2017. Her mark of 3.80m was good for a third-place finish overall.

Hamm won the high jump competition with a personal-best mark of 5-7.25 (1.71m) to tie Ty'Jalayah Robertson's school record set in 2015. She has won both open high jump competitions she's been in this season. Also in the high jump, Adrianna Reagan cleared 5-3.25 (1.61m) and tied for sixth place.

Laura Hamann posted a big personal best in the triple jump, going 39-5 (12.01m) to earn a runner-up finish in the event. Hamann is inching closer to the school record of 12.08m. Onyx Gaston posted a personal-best mark of 37-3.25 (11.36m) to take seventh place.

Also in the pole vault, Alysse McMillen earned a sixth-place finish with a mark of 11-11.75 (3.65m) in her season debut. Arielle Williams (Bray) took 12th place in the event with a clearance of 11-5.75 (3.50m).

Gaston long jumped 16-7 (5.05m) and earned a 15th-place finish overall. Tammy Vien posted a personal-best mark of 16-0.25 (4.88m) and finished in 21st place.

Competition resumes tomorrow at 10 a.m. PT.
