SEATTLE – Cal State Fullerton women's track and field competed on Friday night in the first of two days of competition at the UW Invitational in Seattle. Day two begins at 9 a.m. PT on Saturday at Washington's Dempsey Indoor.

Freshman Iesha Hamm competed in her first-career pentathlon on Friday and scored 2,700 points, taking 28th place overall. She posted marks of 10.00 in the 60-meter hurdles, (712 points) 5-5 (1.65m) in the high jump (795 points), 27-10.75 (8.50m) in the shot put (432), 16-0.25 (4.88m) in the long jump (527 points) and 3:15.58 in the 800-meter run (234). Hamm tied for second place overall in the high jump competition.

Sophomore Demi Marine clocked a 5K time of 18:15.12 in her season debut, good for 33rd place overall.

The Titans ran two teams in the distance medley relay (1,200m, 400m, 800m, 1,600m). The "A" quartet, which clocked a time of 12:02.34 in 12th place, consisted of sophomore Sandra Flores, senior Fanny Giron, sophomore Sam Huerta and freshman Wendi Leos. The "B" quartet posted a time of 12:32.91 in 21st place, run by freshman Trinity Ruelas, sophomore Mia Franco, junior Gabrielle De La Rosa and senior Pamela Pelayo.
