FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton kicks off the indoor track and field season with the women's squad set to compete at the Lumberjack Team Challenge on Friday in Flagstaff, Ariz. At the Walkup Skydome, the field events begin at 2 p.m. PT while track events commence at 4 p.m. PT.
Along with the host Northern Arizona, CSF will compete against Arizona, Arizona State, Grand Canyon and Southern Utah.
Of the 17 Titans competing on Friday, four of them are freshmen. CSF has an experienced squad for the 2018 season, with just 10 newcomers overall.
CSF will compete in three additional indoor meets before the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships take place on Feb. 23-24 in Seattle.
Tammy Vien clocked the No. 25 time in the MPSF last year for the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.78. The women's 4x400-meter relay team posted a time of 3:50.80 which was the 12th-best time in the league in 2017. Adrianna Reagan high jumped 5-7 (1.70m), the 16th-best mark in the conference while Naiah Boardingham long jumped 18-8.5 (5.70m), good for 14th in the MPSF.
As the 2018 season gets underway, cross country and track and field head coach John Elders enters his 30th season at the helm of each program making him the longest tenured head coach in the history of Cal State Fullerton. Cal State Fullerton won the 2017 Big West Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the first conference title in program history.

The Ticket Office is located at the Titan House off of Gymnasium Drive at the eastern end of the Intramural Fields and is open from 10 am – 4 pm PT, Monday – Friday.
