Derric West joined the Cal State Fullerton Athletics staff in August, 2016, initially as a Compliance Specialist. He was promoted to the position of Assistant Athletics Director, Compliance in November, 2018. West has a myriad of responsibilities, including eligibility and retention of student-athletes.
Prior to CSUF, West was a Compliance Specialist at Lafayette College, and a Compliance and Student-Athlete Affairs Assistant at Temple University.
West received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2010. In 2015 he was awarded a Masters of Sports Business from Temple University.
A native of Baltimore, Md., West currently resides in Buena Park, Calif.
