UPCOMING: Cal State Fullerton (16-15) will play the West Coast Conference's LMU Lions (13-15) Tuesday night in Los Angeles, looking to finish with an above .500 record for just the fourth time in the history of the program.
LAST WEEK: Long Beach State again ruined Senior Night at Titan Gym as the No. 23-ranked cross-town nemesis defeated the Titans in three straight sets, as the Titans wrapped up their home and Big West Conference schedule Saturday night. It was the 53rd consecutive win for the 49ers over the Titans dating back to 1982.
Brittany Moore, the lone Titan senior, was in the spotlight, and playing the final home match of her four-year career. She did not disappoint posting19 kills, 13 digs and a pair of block assists in the loss.
Erin Saddler was the only other Titan in double figures in kills with 11, while Alex Wolnisty led the floor with three block assists on the night.
Moore inched her way closer to both the al-time CSF kill and block records Saturday night. She needs just 23 kills and six blocks to tie the records with one final match remaining on the 2008 schedule, Tuesday night at LMU.

VS LMU: Fullerton is 6-20 all-time against the Lions dating back to 1980 and has lost the last 13 in a row to the West Coast Conference opponent dating back to Sept. 2, 1989.

&\#149; The Titans finished with a 9-7 overall Big West Conference record, putting them in 5th place for the eighth time in school history. No Titan squad has finished higher than 5th place dating back to 1976.
&\#149; The Titans are 2-6 in season finales since 2000.
&\#149; The last time Fullerton finished above the .500 mark was 2006 (17-12) when they posted the program's best winning percentage of .583.
&\#149; With a win vs. LMU on Tuesday night, Fullerton can win its 17th game of the season for just the third time in the volleyball program's history. They have reached the 16-win mark just four times now.
&\#149; Brittany Moore had one of, if not the best, back-to-back offensive performances in the history of the program Nov. 14 and 15, posting 60 kills (6.00 kps) including her career-high 31 kills against Pacific and 29 versus UC Davis.
&\#149; The Titans earned their ninth Big West Conference victory on Nov. 15 against Pacific, marking the first time the Titans have ever reached the nine-win plateau. The win ensured the Titans of their very first winning conference season. The volleyball program has notched six-or-more conference wins just five times since 1976, and seven-or-more victories just twice.
&\#149; Alex Wolnisty drilled a career-high 20 kills on Nov. 15, hitting .500 on the night in support of Brittany Moore's 31 kills.
&\#149; Andrea Ragan posted a personal career-high and a Titans season high 65 assists Nov. 15, as the Titans snapped Pacific's nine-match home winning streak.
&\#149; On Nov.14, UC Davis was primed for a 3-0 sweep leading 21-16 in set No. 3. But Fullerton rallied and won the match with three straight set wins. Though not typical, the Titans have rallied from an 0-2 deficit to defeat their opponents. The last time was 13 years ago on Oct. 8, 1995, versus William & Mary in a non-conference game at Titan Gym.
&\#149; In its Nov. 4 meeting with Long Beach, Fullerton picked up its first "set" victory over the 49ers since Sept. 16, 2004 behind nine first-set kills by Brittany Moore. The Titans won set one, 25-19, but eventually succumb to the 49ers in four sets. The last set win in 2004 was a 33-31 victory in a third-set overtime. Their last win against the 49ers came in 1982. Fullerton has lost 52 consecutive matches against them.
&\#149; Brittany Moore now is the all-time Cal State Fullerton leader in block assists, having surpassed Alyssa Opeka's old record (2002-05). Moore now sits at 293 career block assits.
&\#149; Brittany Moore needs just 6 blocks to become the all-time Cal State Fullerton leader in total blocks. With 357 total blocks as a senior, Moore needs tally 6 blocks in Tuesday night's game at LMU to break Stephanie Scofield's (1988-91) record of 363 total blocks. Junior Alex Wolnisty has 269 total blocks, ranking her No. 5 on the all-time Fullerton career list
&\#149; Freshman Sydney McDowell put up 10 block assists Nov. 4 in Long Beach, matching the second-most block assists in a match by anyone in Cal State Fullerton history. She became just the fourth Titan to share in 10 blocks in a match, and the first person since Erin Saddler did it last season. She just missed the record of 11 set by Laurie Jakemer in 1980.
&\#149; With 60 kills last week, and 19 on Tuesday vs. Long Beach, Brittany Moore closed the gap between she and Susan Herman, the CSF all-time kills leader. Moore, now stands with 1,511 career kills, just 23 shy of the Fullerton record set by Herman from 1986-89. Just Moore and Herman have tallied 1,500-or-more kills in their career.
&\#149; Brittany Moore moved up in the Titan record books with her 422nd set played. She now sits alone in the No. 3 slot where she will finish her career. Stephanie Scofield (1988-91) played in 442 sets while Stephanie Schrieve played in 461 for the Titans from 1988-91.
&\#149; Brittany Moore has 17 double-doubles (kills/digs) in the Titans' 31 matches played to date. She is currently enjoying a string of seven double-doubles in a row.
&\#149; Freshman Impact: Rookie setter Andrea Ragan took over the reigns for good on Oct. 3 and has guided the offense to a 10-5 record since then. Prior to Ragan going the starting lineup, the Titans were 6-10. The freshman has started the last 15 matches and has 40-or-more assists in 10 matches, 50-or-more in four and 60-or more once.
&\#149; With the Titan win on Oct. 24 in Santa Barbara, Titan Head Coach Carolyn Zimmerman earned the 85th win of her career, and became the all-time winningest coach in CSF volleyball history. She surpassed Fran Cummings, who had 84 wins over nine seasons between 1980 and 1988. Zimmerman now has a career record of 89-129, good for a .408 winning percentage (also a school record).
&\#149; The program has notched at least 14 wins in each of the last five season now, the best stretch in the program's history. The next closest run was from 1995 to 1997 where the Titans posted 12, 16 and 12 wins in three straight years.
The Titans have recorded 16-or-more wins just four times in the program's history (1981, 1996, 2006, 2008), 17-or-more twice (1981, 2006), and 18 once (1981).
&\#149; 16 overall victories by the 2008 Titans, ranks them tied for 3rd in all-time CSF season wins with Mary Ellen Murchinson's 1996 squad.
&\#149; Coming into the week Alex Wolnisty's .287 attack percentage is good for 6th among players in the Big West Conference. Her percentage dropped from .288 to .287 in last week's match.
&\#149; For the third week in a row, Brittany Moore sits atop the Big West Conference in kills (456) and kills per set (4.04), after jumping into the No. 1 spot for the first time in her career this season. Moore has posted double-digits in kills in 25 of the Titans' 31 matches this season and leads UC Davis' Renee Ibekwe by 76 kills.
&\#149; Cami Croteau, still leads the Big West in total kills with 489, but dropped out of the No. 1 spot in digs per set last week. She now sits behind UCSB's Leigh Stephemson (4.36 dps) by 0.03 digs per set.
&\#149; Freshman Andrea Ragan has posted 10.33 assists per set and ranks fourth in the Big West.
&\#149; Cami Croteau set a career high and tied the second best dig performance ever by a Titan with 35 scoops on Oct. 18 against UC Davis. Croteau matched Vanessa Vella (2004-2006), who tallied 35 twice in her three-year career, and missed the single match record, also held by Vella, by just two digs
&\#149; Sophomore Cami Croteau has already broken into the career Top 10 in Cal State Fullerton history with 978 career-digs in her young career. She now sits at No. 7 all-time, and is 14 digs away from jumping to No. 6 and nine from joining the 1,000-dig club.
&\#149; The Titans, for the first-time in their history, cracked the Top 100 in NCAA RPI (Oct. 13) coming in at No. 93. Since then, the Titans have fallen out of the Top 100 and are currently ranked No. 119.
