UPCOMING: Fullerton has just two matches remaining on the 2008 docket. Saturday's match vs. Long Beach State (7 p.m.) will mark the final home and Big West match of the season when Brittany Moore will be honored as the Titans lone departing senior on Senior Night. The Titans will conclude their season with a road match at LMU on Nov. 25.
LAST WEEK: For the first time in over a month, the Titans went 2-0 on the week and set new team records in the process. With a pair of Big West Conference triumphs the Titans earned their record 8th and 9th league victories and for the first time ensured a winning league schedule with one Big West match remaining.
Big West Player of the Week Brittany Moore powered the Titans with 60 kills and 34 digs in two 5-set wins over UC Davis on Friday and Pacific on Saturday. Moore was a kill shy of matching her then-career high of 30 on Friday night, blasting 29 to lead the floor in Davis. Then she connected for a career-high 31 on Saturday night in front of the Spanos Center crowd, halting Pacific's perfect 9-0 home record.
Alex Wolnisty (20 kills) and Andrea Ragan (65 assists) also set career marks in Stockton.
The Titans had a miraculous comeback on Friday night, battling from near sweep at the hands of the Aggies. Down two sets-to-none and trailing 21-16 in the third frame, Fullerton rallied to first tie the set at 22, then forged ahead to win three straight sets for the first time in 13 years. The last time the Titans won a match they trailed 0-2 was on Oct. 8, 1995 against non-conference opponent William & Mary at Titan Gym.

In their last meeting with Long Beach on Election Day, Fullerton picked up its first set victory over the 49ers since Sept. 16, 2004 behind nine first-set kills by Brittany Moore. The Titans won set one, 25-19, but eventually succumb to the 49ers in four sets.

&\#149; Brittany Moore had one of, if not the best, back-to-back offensive performances in the history of the program last weekend posting 60 kills (6.00 kps) including her career-high 31 kills on Saturday night against Pacific and 29 versus UC Davis on Friday.
&\#149; The Titans earned their ninth Big West Conference victory on Saturday night against Pacific, marking the first time the Titans have ever reached the nine-win plateau. The win ensured the Titans of their very first winning conference season with one match remaining on the league docket. The volleyball program has notched six-or-more conference wins just five times since 1976, and seven-or-more victories just twice.
&\#149; Alex Wolnisty drilled a career-high 20 kills on Saturday night, hitting .500 on the night in support of Brittany Moore's 31 kills.
&\#149; Andrea Ragan posted a personal career-high and a Titans season high 65 assists on Saturday night as the Titans snapped Pacific's nine-match home winning streak.
&\#149; On Friday night UC Davis was primed for a 3-0 sweep leading 21-16 in set No. 3. But Fullerton rallied and won the match with three straight set wins. Though not typical, the Titans have rallied from an 0-2 deficit to defeat their opponents. The last time was 13 years ago on Oct. 8, 1995, versus William & Mary in a non-conference game at Titan Gym.

&\#149; Brittany Moore now is the all-time Cal State Fullerton leader in block assists, having surpassed Alyssa Opeka's old record (2002-05). Moore now sits at 291 career block assits.
&\#149; Brittany Moore needs just 8 blocks to become the all-time Cal State Fullerton leader in total blocks. With 355 total blocks as a senior, Moore needs to average just over four blocks a match for the last two matches of the year to break Stephanie Scofield's (1988-91) record of 363 total blocks. Junior Alex Wolnisty has 266 total blocks, ranking her No. 5 on the all-time Fullerton career list
&\#149; Freshman Sydney McDowell put up 10 block assists Nov. 4 in Long Beach, matching the second-most block assists in a match by anyone in Cal State Fullerton history. She became just the fourth Titan to share in 10 blocks in a match, and the first person since Erin Saddler did it last season. She just missed the record of 11 set by Laurie Jakemer in 1980. &\#149; With another 60 kills last week, Brittany Moore continued to close the gap between she and Susan Herman, the CSF all-time kills leader. Moore, now stands with 1,492 career kills, just 42 shy of the Fullerton record set by Herman from 1986-89. Just Moore and Herman have tallied 1,400-or-more kills in their career, and with eight more, the only two to ever record 1,500. Moore needs to average 21 kills in each of the last two matches to become the all-time queen of kills at Cal State Fullerton.
&\#149; Brittany Moore moved up in the Titan record books with her 419th set played. She now sits alone in the No. 3 slot where she will finish her career. Stephanie Scofield (1988-91) played in 442 sets while Stephanie Schrieve played in 461 for the Titans from 1988-91.
&\#149; Brittany Moore has 16 double-doubles (kills/digs) in the Titans' 30 matches played to date. She is currently enjoying a string of six double-doubles in a row.
&\#149; Freshman Impact: Rookie setter Andrea Ragan took over the reigns for good on Oct. 3 and has guided the offense to a 10-4 record since then. Prior to Ragan going the starting lineup, the Titans were 6-10. The freshman has started the last 14 matches and has 40-or-more assists in 9 matches and 50-or-more in four and 60-or more once.
&\#149; With the Titan win on Oct. 24 in Santa Barbara, Titan Head Coach Carolyn Zimmerman earned the 85th win of her career, and became the all-time winningest coach in CSF volleyball history. She surpassed Fran Cummings, who had 84 wins over nine seasons between 1980 and 1988. Zimmerman now has a career record of 89-128, good for a .410 winning percentage (also a school record).
&\#149; The program has notched at least 14 wins in each of the last five season now, the best stretch in the program's history. The next closest run was from 1995 to 1997 where the Titans posted 12, 16 and 12 wins in three straight years.
The Titans have recorded 16-or-more wins just four times in the program's history (1981, 1996, 2006, 2008), 17-or-more twice (1981, 2006), and 18 once (1981).
&\#149; 16 overall victories by the 2008 Titans, ranks them tied for 3rd in all-time CSF season wins with Mary Ellen Murchinson's 1996 squad.
&\#149; Coming into the week Alex Wolnisty's .288 attack percentage is good for 6th among players in the Big West Conference. Her percentage jumped from .279 to .288 in the last two matches.
&\#149; For the second week in a row, Brittany Moore sits atop the Big West Conference in kills (437) and kills per set (3.97), after jumping into the No. 1 spot for the first time in her career last week. Moore has posted double-digits in kills in 24 of the Titans' 30 matches this season and leads UC Davis' Renee Ibekwe by 65 kills and by 0.36 kps.
&\#149; Cami Croteau, still leads the Big West in total kills with 476, but dropped out of the No. 1 spot in digs per set, falling behind UCSB's Leigh Stephemson (4.36 dps) by 0.03 digs per set.
&\#149; Freshman Andrea Ragan has posted 10.17 assists per set and ranks fifth in the Big West. &\#149; Cami Croteau set a career high and tied the second best dig performance ever by a Titan with 35 scoops on Oct. 18 against UC Davis. Croteau matched Vanessa Vella (2004-2006), who tallied 35 twice in her three-year career, and missed the single match record, also held by Vella, by just two digs
&\#149; Sophomore Cami Croteau has already broken into the career Top 10 in Cal State Fullerton history with 978 career-digs in her young career. She now sits at No. 7 all-time, and is 26 digs away from jumping to No. 6 and 21 from joining the 1,000-dig club.
&\#149; The Titans, for the first-time in their history, cracked the Top 100 in NCAA RPI (Oct. 13) coming in at No. 93. Since then, the Titans have fallen out of the Top 100 and are currently ranked No. 119. The Titans have or will play four teams (Long Beach, Wisconsin, Pepperdine and Cal) that are listed in the NCAA RPI Top 25.
