QUICK HITS:

Brittany Moore (Orange, Calif.) had a standout performance Friday night posting a season-high 27 kills to lead the Titans to a league win over UC Santa Barbara. Not only did she blast 27 kills, but she hit with accuracy, committing just one error in 51 swings for a .510 attack percentage. She also collected 12 digs for her 10th double-double of the year, and added four blocks in the victory. On the weekend, the senior collected 5.14 kills and 2.86 digs per set.

&\#149; Freshman Andrea Ragan tallied a career-high and a Titan season high 54 assists against UC Santa Barbara last Friday night up north. The freshman has started the last eight matches and has 40-or-more assists in 5 matches and 50-or-more in two.

&\#149; With the win last Saturday at the Thunderdome in Santa Barbara, Titan Head Coach Carolyn Zimmerman earned the 85th win of her career, and became the all-time winningest coach in CSF volleyball history. She surpassed Fran Cummings, who had 84 wins over nine season between 1980 and 1988. Zimmerman now has a career record of 85-126, good for a .403 winning percentage (also a school record).

&\#149; With a win last Friday night, the Titans now have five Big West Conference victories. The volleyball program has notched five-or-more conference wins just seven times since 1976, with their record seven conference wins coming last year in 2007.

&\#149; The program has notched at least 12 wins in each of the last five season now, the best stretch in the program's history. The next closest run was from 1995 to 1997 where the Titans posted 12, 16 and 12 wins in three straight years.

&\#149; 12 overall victories by the 2008 Titans, ranks them tied for 7th in all-time CSF season wins.

&\#149; The Titans have just three triumphs over UC Santa Barbara in 57 matches in their head-to-head histories. With its win last Friday night, Fullerton has now split the season series with UCSB the past three years, after going 0-51 against them from 1982-2005.

&\#149; Before Oct. 18th's loss to UC Davis, the Titans had not lost a match since 2005 in which they held a two-sets-to-one lead going into set four.

&\#149; Cami Croteau set a career high and tied the second best dig performance ever by a Titan with 35 scoops on Oct. 18 against UC Davis. Croteau matched Vanessa Vella (2004-2006), who tallied 35 twice in her three-year career, and missed the single match record, also held by Vella, by just two digs

&\#149; Sophomore Cami Croteau has already broken into the career Top 10 in Cal State Fullerton history with 838 career-digs in her young career. She now sits at No. 10 all-time.

&\#149; The Titans, for the first-time in their history, cracked the Top 100 in NCAA RPI (Oct. 13) coming in at No. 93. Since then, the Titans have fallen out of the Top 100 and are currently ranked No. 105. The Titans have or will play four teams (Long Beach, Wisconsin, Pepperdine and Cal) that are listed in the NCAA RPI Top 25.

&\#149; Despite upping her season attack percentage from .280 to .287 from last week's rankings, Alex Wolnisty has dropped a spot in Big West Conference in attack percentage from 5th to 6th place.

&\#149; Brittany Moore jumped two spots and now ranks 3rd in the Big West with 3.63 kills per set and is tied with Davis' Renee Ibekwe with 305 total kills, the most by any Big West player. She has also collected double-digits in kills in 18 of the Titans' 24 matches.

&\#149; Brittany Moore (10th,, 2.98 dps) and Cami Croteau (2nd, 4.00 dps) both rank in the Big West's Top 10 in digs per set. Croteau now leads the conference in total digs with 336.

&\#149; Brittany Moore has 10 double-doubles (kills/digs) in the Titans' 24 matches played to date.

&\#149; Brittany Moore moved up in the Titan record books with her 393rd set played. She now ranks 4h all-time in sets played at Cal State Fullerton. She could become just the fourth Titan to eve record 400 sets played this weekend at home.

&\#149; Two weekends ago Brittany Moore became the Titans' third player to ever reach the 1300-kill plateau. She now sits at 1,360 career kills, just 18 behind No. 2 Megan Sabo (1998-2001) and 174 behind No. 1 Susan Herman (1986-89).

&\#149; Brittany Moore needs just 24 blocks to become the all-time Cal State Fullerton leader in total blocks. With 339 total blocks as a senior, Moore needs to average three blocks over the last eight matches of the year to at least tie Stephanie Scofield (1988-91) with 363 total blocks. Junior Alex Wolnisty has 251total blocks, ranking her No. 4 on the all-time Fullerton career list.

&\#149; Brittany Moore (280 block assists, 59 solos) is No. 3 all-time in career block assists and 4th all-time in solos. Moore sits just two block assists away from the No. 2 spot and seven away from breaking Alyssa Opeka's record of 287 block assists from 2002-2005. As a junior, Alex Wolnisty already ranks 4th all-time in career block assists (209), and 10th in solos (42).
