Colorado Springs, Colorado - The US Women's National Volleyball Team concluded its two-match cultural exchange exhibition series in Cairo, against the Egypt National Team with a two-match sweep of the host team.

Former Titan Brittany Moore, the first Titan volleyball player to ever don the Red, White and Blue, recorded 10 kills, a block and an ace in her first game at the international level, and followed her debut with a 13-kill, one-block, one-ace effort in the final match.

The 2008 Big West Player of the Year from Orange, Calif., played in six of the seven sets and tallied squad-highs in total kills (23), total points (27.0), and tied for the team-lead in blocks with 2 total stuffs. Moore also totaled nine total digs (1.50 per set) in the two-match series.

Along with the matches, the trip involved a cultural component arranged through the United States and Egypt Olympic Committees. The American squad took a cruise down the Nile River on April 11 and toured the Egyptian Pyramids on April 13. They departed for return to the United States on April 14. The program is part of an ongoing effort to build good relations between the USOC and African National Olympic Committees and to promote the sport in Africa.
