Fullerton, Calif. - The 2008 Big West Conference's Player of the Year, Brittany Moore, was named a CVU.com Stellar Spiker Honorable Mention Thursday morning by the online college volleyball resource.

Moore, a Cal State Fullerton senior, was one of 88 volleyballers from across the nation to be honored on ether a first or second team, or as an honorable mention.

CVU.com looked for players that exhibited excellence and balance. While NCAA statistical rankings were considered, they weren't the only consideration. Also considered was the impact the player had on helping her team succeed as well as conference awards.

Moore led the Titans to their first above .500 conference schedule in schools history, winning a record nine Big West Conference matches, and also carried them to just their fourth winning season since 1976. She was named an All-American Honorable Mention by the AVCA and was also a all-conference first teamer in 2008.
