Northridge, Calif. - Brittany Moore slammed 14 kills and hit .297 for Cal State Fullerton as the Titans defeated Idaho, 3-0 (30-26, 30-27, 30-22), in their first match of the Fremont Investment & Loan Invitational at the Matadome Friday night.

The Titans improved to 14-15 on the year, earning their fifth win via a sweep while Idaho falls to 13-16.

Moore was the only Titan in double figures and led all players with 10-or-more kills in attack percentage. The junior also posted five digs, a service ace and three block assists in the win.

The Vandals helped the Titans with 45 errors on the night, while Fullerton committed just 29. The Titans also out-hit the Vandals .231 to .185 as a team.

Idaho's Haley Larson led all players on the floor with 16 kills, while teammate Sarah Loney added 11.

Anna McKinney tallied five total blocks to lead all players and pace the Vandals as they out-blocked the Titans 8.5 to 7.0. Erin Saddler led the Titans with four blocks, while Moore and Alex Wonisty each added three apiece.

Senior Julie Geissert posted five kills (without an error), 31 assists, 12 digs and a match high 4 aces in her second to the last game of her career.

The Titans will take on Fairfield Saturday afternoon at Cal State Northrigde in the final match of 2007.
