San Diego, Calif. - San Diego's Kristen Carlson led all players with 17 kills as No. 17 USD defeated Cal State Fullerton in three-straight games, 31-29, 30-21, 30-22, in a non-conference volleyball match at the Jenny Craig Pavillion Tuesday night.
The loss wrapped up a historic season for the Titans who finished 17-12 overall while the Toreros improve to 24-5, likely heading to the postseason in the weeks to come.
Brittany Moore led the Titans with 11 kills, Vanessa Vella led all players with 15 digs, and Amanda Pfielschiefter led all players with six blocks in her final game as a Titan in her hometown in San Diego.
