Davis, Calif. - Twenty-nine kills from senior Brittany Moore led Cal State Fullerton to a come-from-behind 3-2 Big West Conference victory over UC Davis Friday night at the Pavilion, giving the Titans eight wins in league action for the first time in the program's existence.

With the 21-25, 20-25, 31-29, 25-17, 15-10 win, Fullerton improves to 15-14 overall and 8-6 in Big West play. It is the first time since Oct. 17 that the Titans have put up consecutive wins, having split their weekly schedule in each of the last four weeks. Davis falls to 12-15, 4-10.

UC Davis was primed for a 3-0 sweep leading 21-16 in set No. 3. But Fullerton rallied for five of the next six points to tie Davis at 22-22. Seven of Fullerton's final nine points of the set were courtesy of Aggie errors which opened the door for the Titans' comeback.

Though not typical, the Titans have rallied from an 0-2 deficit to defeat their opponents. The last time was 13 years ago on Oct. 8, 1995, versus William & Mary in a non-conference game at Titan Gym.

The Big West's leader in kills, Moore, led all players with 29 Friday night, leaving her just one shy of her career high set last season. She also scored her 15th double-double of the year, and fifth in a row, by adding 18 digs. Moore was flanked by sophomore Erin Saddler, who added 17 kills and three service aces in the win.

Three Aggies were in double digits in kills for UC Davis, led by Renee Ibekwe who topped out with 14.

The blocking efforts by both squads were a wash as each side put up 10 team blocks. Davis' Katie Denny led all players with five block assists, while her teammate Melanie Adams added four. Fullerton's Saddler (one solo) and Alex Wolnisty each contributed four to pace the Titans.

The Titans' defense kept the ball in play as they out-dug Davis 95-86 on the night. Fullerotn's Cami Croteau led all players with 25 digs. Croteau, Ashley Collier (22), Moore (18) and Andrea Ragan (19) all finished with 18-or-mor digs on the night. Ragan scored a double-double as well for Fullerton, also notching 51 assists as the setter.

Five Aggies finished with 10-or-more digs, led by Avreeta Singh's 24. Singh also added four aces in the losing effort.

The Titans will face Pacific Saturday night at 7 p.m. looking to add another victory to Big West schedule and sweep the season series form the Tigers.
