ISLA VISTA, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's volleyball team were swept 3-0 on the road at UC Santa Barbara on Friday night at the Thunderdome.
The Titans fall to 12-11 overall and 6-9 in conference play. The Gauchos improved to 17-8 overall and 13-2 in conference play.
The Titans hit .122 for the game while the Gauchos hit .405 and had 15 total blocks against the Titans.
The Titans started the game off strong taking a 4-1 lead in the first set. However the Gauchos went on a 11-2 run to take a 13-6 lead over the Titans. The Gauchos closed off the first set 25-14.

In the second set, the Titans were able to stay around the Gauchos for most of the set. The Gaucho finally broke away from the Titans with a 24-19 lead before Danielle Jefferies staved off two set points. The Gauchos eventually took the second set 25-21.

In the third set, the Titans were hanging with UCSB within 1 point (5-6) before Santa Barbara got five straight points. The Gauchos would take the final set 25-15.
The Titans wil play their final road game of the 2022 season on Saturday at CSUN before finishing the season off with a 4-game homestand. First serve is set for 5:00 P.M.
