LONG BEACH, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton won their second straight match with a sweep (25-23, 25-23, 26-24) over rival Long Beach State. This marks the 10th win of the season for the Titans, most in a single season since 2013 when the program won 11 matches.
Julia Crawford continued her dominance with 15 kills to go along with eight assists. Tyler Fezzey was not far behind posting 10 kills of her own on a .429 hit percentage. Makenzi Abelman just missed out on a double-double with 34 assists and eight digs.
The Titans (10-7, 2-4 Big West) took control early taking the first four points of the match, forcing a Long Beach timeout. While the Sharks battled back to make it close, Fullerton held on for a 25-23 win.

CSF and LBSU battled back-and-forth for the entirety of the second set, but the Titans would come out on top with another 25-23 set victory.
Long Beach dominated the third right out of the gate going up 7-1 to start the set. However, Fullerton battled all the way back including a 9-2 scoring run down the stretch eventually coming out with a 26-24 victory to complete the sweep.

This is the second Big West victory of the season for the Titans, the most since 2014. This also marks the first time Fullerton has won two straight conference matches since the 2012 season.
Cal State Fullerton will look to make it three straight against CSUN tomorrow night in the Matadome at 7:00 p.m.
