ABILENE, Tex. - Cal State Fullerton saw their five-match win streak snapped on Friday as North Texas swept the Titans (15-25, 17-25, 18-25) on day two of the Wildcat Classic.

Julia Crawford led the team with 11 kills on 30% hit percentage to go along with six digs. Savahna Costello continued her stellar defense posting a match-high 23 digs. Makenzi Abelman led the team with 25 assists.

The Mean Green jumped out to the early lead and never looked back taking the first set by 10 points.

The second started the way the first ended as Fullerton fell behind 13-1 early on. The Titans would end up going on a nice scoring run towards the end, but the rally would come up short falling 25-17 in the second set.

Looking to avoid a sweep, the Titans would take a 10-7 lead in the third set. Unfortunately, the lead would not hold as North Texas took the third set 25-18.

Cal State Fullerton will look to bounce back in their weekend finale against Prairie View A&M tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. PT.
