NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton dropped its Big West Conference season opener 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-14) at CSUN, Tuesday night at the Matadome in Northridge.
The Titans (6-7, 0-1 Big West) dropped their seventh consecutive match on Tuesday after winning six straight to begin the year. CSUN moved to 5-8 overall and 1-0 in the Big West.
Felicia Marshall led the Titans with nine kills and eight digs on the night. Courtney Mueller also had eight digs and a team-high 10 assists.
Alexandra Pestolis and Neena Dimas each recorded four digs.
Fullerton kept things close through the first two sets, but unfortunately the match got away in the third.
The Titans will take on No. 15 Cal Poly, Friday at 7 pm PT inside Titan Gym. The match will be televised on ESPN3 and tickets are available at FullertonTitans.com.
