FULLERTON, Calif. – Hawai'i was winners of six straight coming, and it left Titan Gym with a seven-match win streak, earning a 3-0 (25-8, 25-9, 25-16) victory over Fullerton on Friday evening.
Tyler Fezzey led the way with a team-high seven kills, while Madeline Schneider followed with five of her own. Summer Kerins recorded a team-best .500 hitting percentage on six attacks.
Savahna Costello produced a team-best seven digs in front of a season-best crowd of 598 fans.
It was tough sledding from the beginning, but the Titans got better as the night went on, producing their highest attack percentage of .194 in third set, while also recorded 16 points.
The Titans will finish off the brief homestand against CSU Bakersfield, Tuesday at 6 pm PT.
