Played in all 28 matches and appeared in 84 sets... Finished second on the team with 158 kills and third on the team with a 1.88 kills per set... Also tallied 25 digs, four service aces and 24 blocks... Hammered down a career high 16 kills against Central Michigan on Sept. 11... Tallied four blocks at Fresno State on Sept. 11. 

HIGH SCHOOL
 A 2015 graduate of Aliso Niguel High School in Aliso Viejo, Calif… Was a two-year varsity letter (2013, 2014) for  head coach Peter Butler… Played as a middle-blocker for the Wolverines… Named Second-Team All Sea View League with .450 hitting % and a season high of 128 blocks, Sea View League Champions, and CIF Quarterfinalist as a Junior… Was also named Second-Team All Sea View as a Senior, as well as Division 1A Champion, and Sea View League Champions with a .458 hitting % and a season high of 89 blocks…Won the Scholar Athlete Award for two consecutive years, as well as AP Scholar with Honors Award.

PERSONAL
 Born in Hermosa Beach, Calif… full name is Summer Gabriella Kerins… parents are Mark and Gabrielle Kerins… has one younger sister, Katie Kerins… majoring in engineering… future goal is to continue her education and get a master’s degree…  played for the Laguna Beach Volleyball Club team for Michael Soylular… father played for the men’s volleyball team for CSULB, was on USA National team in 1991, is a 3 time NCAA All America, and currently a coach for the Laguna Beach Volleyball Club team… Favorites include: Kerri Walsh (volleyball player), Dallas Cowboys (team), American Sports Center (sports venue), Kerri Walsh (athlete), Avengers (movie), Imagine dragons and Katy Perry (musical artists), The Hunger Games Series and Harry Potter (books), Netflix (website), Jennifer Lawrence (actress), Chipotle (restaurant), Italian (food).
