Fullerton, Calif. - Alyse Hensley led the Titans with 11 kills and Bre Moreland and Holland Crenshaw added 10 kills apiece as Cal State Fullerton ended its six-match losing streak with a 3-0 sweep of visiting UC Riverside in Titan Gym Saturday night.

The Titans, whose last win came on Oct. 12 at Riverside, improve to 10-13 overall and 3-8 in Big West Conference action. The 25-16, 25-11, 25-20 loss drops the Highlanders to a dismal 1-22, 0-11.

Crenshaw hit a robust .588 without an error in 17 swings. Hensley had just one error in 22 attempts and hit .455 as Fullerton, as a team, had an attack percentage of .327.

The Titans were in complete control through the first two sets, holding the Highlanders to .022 and .086 percentages, respectively. Set three saw 15 ties and 7 lead changes, but a service ace by Julie Consani snapped an 18-18 tie and propelled the Titans to a 7-2 run to end the match.

Ashley Cox was the bright light for the Highlanders posting 13 kills at a .323 clip with two aces and seven digs. Bri Holmes added seven kills for UCR.

Moreland logged a double-double, adding 11 digs to her 10 digs. Paige Reed had a match high 18 digs.

Fullerton out-played Riverside at the net, picking up 5.0 team blocks to just 1.0 for the visitors. Crenshaw and Hensley had four block assists and Faith Rockmore had the match's only solo block.

The Titans will continue their homestand next weekend, hosting UC Irvine (7 p.m.) and Long Beach State (7:30 p.m.) on Friday and Saturday nights, respectively.
