LOS ANGELES – No. 5 USC's offense was unstoppable on Friday night at the Galen Center as Samantha Bricio's 12-kill performance led the Trojans to a sweep (25-19, 25-16, 25-23) of Cal State Fullerton.

In addition to her 12 kills, Bricio attacked at a rate of .324 and added three service aces and seven digs.

As a team, USC (10-1) hit .233 for the match, the third Titan opponent to hit over .230 against Fullerton in 2013.

Setter Julie Consani led the Titans with 27 assists, as Fullerton was held to a .107 attacking percentage.

Alyse Hensley led the Titans with nine kills, followed by Leah Best (8) and Holland Crenshaw (8). McKenna Painton found her way to 17 digs

Fullerton (7-4) battled to a 14-13 lead in the third set – the Titans' first advantage since holding a 13-12 lead in the first set of the match. But like the first set, USC had an answer and flipped the set with a quick 5-3 run.

USC led from start to finish in the second set en route to a sizable 25-16 victory. Heading into the break with a 2-0 advantage, Bricio led the Trojans with nine kills as USC attacked at a rate of .272 and held Fullerton to .097.

In the first set, Fullerton built an 11-8 lead as Consani distributed the ball well with five different players tallying at least one kill. But the Trojans put together a 9-3 run to build a healthy 17-14 advantage that the Titans could not overcome.

Three of USC's four aces its 25-19 first set win were courtesy of Bricio, while Leah Stevens led Cal State Fullerton with four kills in the first set.

Cal State Fullerton returns to action on Sunday, hosting American at Titan Gym. Start time for the match is 1 p.m.

Notes: USC now leads the all-time series 23-0 dating back to 1976…Fullerton is 0-1 against a ranked opponent in 2013...Fullerton was swept for the third time in 2013.
