FULLERTON, Calif. – A 16-kill, 21-dig performance from senior Kayla Neto was not enough on Friday night at the Alex G. Spanos Center, as Pacific won the final two sets of a five-game marathon to defeat Cal State Fullerton, 3-2 (25-22, 14-25, 20-25, 25-13, 25-13).

After three sets, the Titans (6-10, 0-3 Big West) had a 2-1 lead over the Tigers (13-2, 1-1 Big West), but after holding Pacific to sub .150 attacking percentages in the second and third games respectively, CSF could not do the same in the match's final sets.

Pacific was led by Megan Birch's match-high 20 kills, while the Tigers hit at a clip of .308 in game four and .229 in game five. Hannah Clancy totaled a match-best 26 digs for the Tigers, while Kat Schulz recorded a double-double of 10 kills and 25 digs.
