San Diego, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton's doubles teams of Gina Le and Brandy Andrews and Katrina Domela and Jerusha Cruz were both beaten in their opening matches Thursday morning at the Wilson / ITA West Region women's tennis championships in San Diego.

Le-Andrews were beaten, 8-4, by Katy Williams-Stephanie Bengson of Long Beach State and Domela-Cruz lost to Sarah Yang-Becky Duesler of UCLA, also 8-4.

The Titans' third team of Shelly Injejikian and Cheyenne Inglis received a first-round bye and will play their first match tomorrow at 9 a.m. against Anna Victoria Lind-Stefanie Wetmore of UCLA. Le-Andrews and Domela-Cruz will play in the consolation bracket tomorrow.

Singles play began today at 10 a.m.
