2009 CSF Fall Intercollegiate Draws

The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team will open its 2009-10 campaign this weekend as the Titans host players from 11 other Southern California schools in the 2009 Fall Intercollegiate Tournament at the Titan Courts on campus.

Play begins on Friday morning (Oct. 9) at 9 a.m. and runs throughout the weekend. Doubles championships will be contested on Sunday morning (Oct. 11) at 9 a.m. with the singles championships beginning at 10 a.m.

Competitors from Cal State Northridge, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, Loyola Marymount, Cal State Bakersfield, Concordia, Pepperdine, Cal State Los Angeles, Chapman University, Long Beach State, and Cal Poly will join the Titans in the field.

Last season, players from Cal Poly swept the singles titles at all three flights with Suzie Matzenauer, Maria Malec, and Jacelyn Davis capturing victories. Doubles champions came from UCLA's Nina Pantic and Ana Victoria Lind in Flight A and New Mexico State's Natalia Salum and Laura Boquet in Flight B.
