SAN DIEGO, CA - The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team lost its first two matches of the season to the University of San Diego 6-1, and San Diego State 7-0.

The Titans (0-2) faced off against the Toreros (1-0) in the first of two matches on Saturday against San Diego schools.

The Aztecs (2-0) remained undefeated against the Titans with their 23rd straight victory.

After dropping all three doubles matches to the Toreros, the Titans got their lone point from freshman Leslie Bullock in singles play. Bullock picked up the win when USD's Samantha Mouly retired early in the second set.

In their second match on Saturday, the Titans had a tough time getting anything going against the Aztecs. The doubles team of Shelly Injejikian and Cheyenne Inglis kept things close in their doubles match against SDSU's Julia Trunk and Holly Bagshaw. The Aztecs tandem proved to be too much and pulled out the 8-6 win.

San Diego State would go on to sweep the next two doubles matches and all six matches in singles play.

The CSF women's tennis team will return home to Titan Courts to face off against UC San Diego on Thursday (Feb. 5) at 2 p.m.
