Doubles Point Works for Titans

Fullerton, Calif. - Gina Le and Mai-Ly Tran each won her singles match and they teamed to win the No. 1 doubles match Tuesday afternoon to lead Cal State Fullerton to a 4-3 non-conference women's tennis victory over Amherst College.

The win snapped a 15-match losing streak for the Titans and improved their record to 2-15.

Fullerton won the top three singles matches and got the decisive doubles point when its No. 2 team of Shelly Injejikian and Cheyenne Inglis managed an 8-3 victory after the teams had split the Nos. 1 and 3 matches.
