Fullerton, Calif. - Southeastern Louisiana swept the six singles matches fast enough to beat an approaching rainstorm Friday afternoon and scored a 6-0 non-conference women's tennis victory at Cal State Fullerton.
The teams skipped the doubles competition and went right to the singles where the Lady Lions won in straight sets except at No. 2 where Breda Kovec snapped Ruya Inalpulat's winning streak at three matches by winning in a tie-breaker, 6-3, 1-6 (10-8). Fullerton will take a 3-10 record into a home Monday match with Boston College, weather permitting.
