FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team won their fifth match in a row as they defeated UC Davis 4-1 on Friday afternoon at the Titan Courts.
The Titans improved to 11-5 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
The Titans dropped the doubles point early against the Aggies and had to come from behind in singles.
DOUBLES
1. Yana Gurevich/Arianna Stavropoulos (UCD-W) def. Natalie Duffy/Camila Garcia (CSF) 6-3
2. Zoe Olmos/Milena Gevorgyan (CSF) def. Lauren Ko/Olive Maunupau (UCD-W) 6-3
3. Michelle Zell/Carly Schwartzberg (UCD-W) def. Diana Yanotovskaya/Kaytlin Taylor (CSF) 6-3

However, in singles the Titans came out firing as the Titans won the first set on every court except the No. 1 Court. However, Zoe Olmos would win the second set 6-0 to ensure that she at least won one set. Kaytlin Taylor, Milena Gevorgyan, Diana Yanotovskaya, and Natalie DUffy were able to finish off their opponents in two sets and the match was abandoned after that.

The Titans will close out a 10-game homestand when they take on Long Beach State next Friday at home at 1:30 PM.
