IRVINE, Calif. - The Big West announced on Wednesday that Zoe Olmos was named the Big West Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Olmos went 2-0 in singles this week against Point Loma and Santa Clara and her match against San Jose State was unfinished.
Olmos defeated Joelle Lanz (Point Loma) 6-0, 6-1. She defeated Jenna Marie Gordon of Santa Clara 6-1, 75. Her match against San Jose State in No. 1 Singles was abandoned at 2-6, 2-5.
In doubles action, Olmos went 2-0 with one match abandoned.
Against Point Loma, Olmos and Natalie Duffy won No. 1 doubles 6-2. Against Santa Clara, Olmos and Kaytlin won No. 2 doubles 6-4. In No. 2 doubles against San Jose State, Olmos and Taylor were down 3-4 when the match was abandoned.
The Titans will head to Loyala Marymount on Friday. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m.
