FULLERTON, Calif. – The Titans opened their dual match season on Saturday afternoon with an impressive 6-1 victory over future Big West member, UC San Diego on the Titan Courts.  The Tritons were ranked fourth in the west region in the preseason Division II Oracle/ITA regional rankings.

The day began with strong showings by the teams of Zeidan/Suh and Acidera/Valenzuela to secure the doubles point, and to get the Titans rolling.

Singles play was dominated by the Titans, as Genevieve Zeidan, Eira Tobrand, Jadie Acidera, YuSeung Suh and Camila Garcia won their singles matches against the Tritons, and gained the needed points to secure the team win.

The Titans will return to action on Friday, January 31 when they will host a unique dual match doubleheader on the Titan Courts with Marymount (California) University at 9:30 a.m., then a 1:30 p.m. contest with Irvine's Concordia University.
