FULLERTON, Calif. – The Titans will host Pacific this Wednesday at 1:30pm P.T. to end their seven-match homestand.
TITANS
Cal State Fullerton (7-2) has compiled five consecutive wins including three against Big West rivals.
The Titans stay undefeated in the Big West (3-0) and currently sit on top of the rankings.
Fullerton has proven it will be hard to beat the Titans on their home courts as they are 6-1 while playing at the Titans Tennis Courts.
After nine duals last season, the Titans were 7-2 exactly like this season.
Jadie Acidera (6-0) and Genevieve Zeidan (3-0) are still undefeated in singles since the start of dual matches.
Eira Tobrand is on a five-match winning streak and was a key player these last few weeks for the Titans.
Sarah Nuno has won the four last matches she has played at No.2.
OPPONENT
University of Pacific is currently 2-4 in dual matches. They started the season with three losses against Fresno State, UC Davis and Cal Poly.
Pacific bounced back with two wins against Louisiana and San Jose State before losing their last game against San Diego State.
HISTORY
The Titans and Tigers met 27 times before with Pacific getting 23 wins and only four for Fullerton.
However, since Coach Dianne Matias arrived, Fullerton has won four times in the last five years.
Last year, Cal State Fullerton dominated Pacific 4-3 in Hawai'i.
