FULLERTON, Calif. – Just one match in the regular season remains as the Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team travels to 66th-ranked Long Beach State at 2 p.m., Friday, for a contest at Rhodes Tennis Center.

The 49ers (15-4, 7-0 BWC) are currently at the top of the Big West Conference standings, and a win would clinch LBSU its ninth regular season title. The Titans (17-4, 6-1 BWC) suffered their first conference loss, 5-2, to UC Santa Barbara on Sunday at Titan Tennis Courts and are currently tied with the Gauchos for second in the standings. UCSB (13-7, 6-1 BWC) concludes the regular season at Cal Poly on Saturday.

A win over LBSU could result in a possible three-way tie at the top of the Big West Conference standings, however even with a loss, the Titans will finish no worse than third, again a program best.
