AS A SENIOR (2013-14)
In her only season with the Titans, completed the year with an overall mark of 0-5 in singles play, while competing in just one dual singles match during the spring, falling 6-1, 6-4 to Leslie Chang of Cal State Northridge at No. 6 in the lineup…in doubles competition, played with three different partners and completed the year with a record of 4-10 overall and 4-9 in dual doubles play…played four matches with Megan Sandford at No. 3 doubles, finishing 0-4…played nine matches with Kalika Slevcove at No. 3 doubles, recording a 4-5 record and notching wins over Colorado State, Amherst, New Mexico State and UC Riverside.

PRIOR TO CAL STATE FULLERTON
Played her sophomore season at Fullerton Junior College under head coach Scott Giles…finished doubles play 11-0 and placed third at the state championships…was the No. 2 singles player for the Hornets…spent her freshman season at Concordia University.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2009 graduate of Esperanza High School in Anaheim, Calif…played at the varsity level for four years under head coach Rey Cejano…finished third in Sunset League singles action during her freshman and sophomore seasons, respectively…as a junior, placed second in the league in singles action as the squad’s No. 1 player and reached the league finals in doubles play…was named first team all-league following her senior season after finishing second in league during singles play along with a second straight finals appearance in double play.

Born in Anaheim, Calif…parents are John and Mila Abella…has four siblings (John, Pam, Denise and Cindy)… major is child development with the goal of becoming a special education teacher and a high school tennis coach...favorites include: Novak Djokovic (tennis player), Staples Center (sports venue), Kobe Bryant (athlete), Candy Del Rey, Ellie Goulding, Lorde (musical artisits), Lakers (athletic team), Wimbledon, U.S. Open (tennis venues), Joseph Gordon Levitt (actor), sushi, pizza (food).
